Way back in the summertime when it was almost too hot to step outdoors, Tom Brown brought us a batch of old photos he had dug out to share with you.

We don’t have a date for this one (do you?)…. The launch of the Nith Rescue boat at Glencaple, with Lady Mary doing the honours. Looks like some houses weren’t built there then either.
