Yippee!

Many thanks to Hilary Roberts who has transformed the old quarterly Caerlaverock Community Association Newsletter into the brand new monthly ‘Caerlaverock Catch-up’ (CCu)!

We remain determined to keep everyone informed as to what’s been going on, and what’s happening in Caerlaverock – especially those without internet access.

We loved the old newsletter, but it was decided that, with so much happening, we needed a more regular monthly digest which will let everyone know about some main news from the previous month, and events in the coming month. It also hopefully keeps it more manageable for Hilary.

This will be the last large-scale community-wide delivery, so many thanks to everyone who has been involved in taking the news to the community!

If you would still like to have a paper copy delivered, please let us know (contact details below).

There are several ways that you can access the CCu:

• We can still deliver it to you
• We will create a few ‘drop off/ collection points’ so you can take copies for your neighbours/ family/ friends who might not be able to access it in other ways – or if you would prefer a paper copy yourself
(Kelton and Bankend bus shelters will have ‘collection boxes’ with copies in them from August – we will ask The Nith Hotel and The Boathouse if they will house some too – watch this space)
• We will pin a copy to the noticeboards around Caerlaverock (please let us know if you’d like a copy on your board)
• We will post a copy on the website (here!) and on our Facebook Page every month, so you can show it to your friends, or print it out for neighbours/ family/ friends

We have just finished printing out a copy of the CCu for everyone in the community – see main image – hot off the press! – so look out for it coming soon! We have also pinned a copy to the Kelton Bus Shelter and Community Noticeboard (on the side of The Boathouse). Bankend Bus Shelter will have its copy this evening (as fast as our little legs can pedal us there!).
