Chris Jackson saw this fly past the Big Rock twice today around lunchtime! It approached from Glencaple just feet above the surface of the water, rose into the air, disappeared then made another pass, again just a couple of feet above the water.
The registration number is G-CCCW, and a quick google tells us it is a Pereira Osprey II Amphibian.
